The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme comprises three forms of funding: Mobility funding, Network funding and Funding for artist residencies. The Mobility funding provides individual applicants access to contacts, skills and knowledge from different parts of the region. Funding may also be used to present artistic and cultural productions and to increase interest in Nordic and Baltic art and culture.

The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Public Administration will be open for applications from civil servants and other staff in the public sector from 15 January 2021. The next deadline for submitting applications is 30 March 2021. There is one application round per year. The Nordic or Nordic-Baltic PhD- and Researcher Mobility Programme was initiated in 2018, at the request of the Nordic energy ministers and the suggestion of Jorma Olilla.
